I loved the spacious and clean suite we stayed in at Seibido Inn. It was perfect for two people and had comfortable tatami mats for sleeping. The location in a residential area was quiet and safe, and within a 10-minute walk to the subway and bus stations. The common area on the ground floor was large and had complimentary drinks, which was a nice touch. The staff spoke excellent English and were friendly and helpful.
Felt good, no complaints whatsoever.

This hotel in Kyoto is a great value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail is impressive, with rooms equipped with all the facilities you need, including a private bathroom. The location of this hotel is unbeatable, as it is really close to the main shopping district of Kyoto, allowing you to easily explore all the shopping opportunities. Additionally, the staff provides excellent service, with attentive and kind personnel.
The only minor improvement that could be made is the soundproofing of the walls. Though the staff does provide ear plugs, sometimes noises from neighboring rooms can still be heard.

Loved the complementary bike rental and calligraphy class that was offered. the location was perfect, not too far from the center, but peaceful enough to have some rest. the room was very clean and spacious with all the necessary goods provided.
That the walls were quite thin, so there was not much privacy in the room, and noise could be heard from the neighbors. Earplugs were recommended, and it worked well.

I had an amazing stay at this Japanese-style hotel in a prime location. The room was clean and new, and I loved the experience of sleeping on the floor on a futon. The hotel's dining area was a great convenience, allowing me to bring my own food and heat it up for breakfast. I also appreciated the option to buy affordable "nespresso" coffee tablets. The staff spoke fluent English and were very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for its value and Japanese charm.

The staff at this city hotel were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about local attractions. They provided maps and transportation tips to make our stay more enjoyable. We also appreciated the free amenities, including umbrellas and WiFi. The location was perfect, with many restaurants and shops within walking distance.
While the room was clean and comfortable, the walls were thin and we could hear other guests and cleaning staff. The beds were also quite hard and uncomfortable for a longer stay.
